BIODEGRADABLE SOUND is a two-part artist-led workshop which explores concepts of biodegradability as they apply to music, instrument making, and the sonic arts.  For the first session participants craft and decorate their own biodegradable records using materials such as seaweed, gelatin and an assortment of natural pigments. For the second session participants etch up to 5 minutes of any sound or music of their choosing onto the biomaterials using a record etcher provided by the artist.
